Koppal, Phyllis Rosalie Age 88; of Shelby Township; passed away peacefully on March 16, 2017. Phyllis was born on January 30, 1929 in Alpena, Michigan to James and Florence (Maciejewski) Szejbach. Wife of the late Edward Koppal (2004); mother of James (Jim), Edward R. (Rick), Karen (Bill) Pulte and Nancy Martin. Phyllis is survived by 8 grandchildren, Cori, Jesse, Kelly, Michelle, Bradley, Curtis, Alex and Karen Kelley; 4 great grandchildren, Maya, Lincoln, Amelia and Anna. A Memorial mass will be celebrated on June 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Kieran’s Catholic Church in Shelby Township. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to International Samaritan 803 N. Main Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
